The High Court is set to announce its decision regarding the mandamus application submitted by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) concerning the constituencies of Tema Central, Okaikwei Central, Techiman South, and Ablekuma North on January 4, 2025.
This ruling comes after the court previously rejected an objection raised by the National Democratic Congress (NDC), which challenged the court's authority to consider the application.
Counsel for the NPP contended that the Electoral Commission (EC) should be mandated to finalize the collation of results in the specified constituencies.
Gary Nimako, who is leading the legal team for the NPP candidates, asserted that the EC had not completed the collation process during the period from December 8, 2024, to January 1, 2025.
