The head coach of the Black Queens of Ghana, Kim Lars Bjorkegren, has indicated that his team took a lot of positives from their defeat to South Africa in their opening match at the 2024 CAF Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The tactician watched on from the touchline on Monday as the Black Queens suffered a 2-0 to the Banyana Banyana.

Speaking in his post-match interview, Coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren said despite the defeat, his team did a lot of good things and will be taking the positives into their next two group games. "We were playing against the previous so maybe it's the toughest game you can play at this tournament.

Like I said, we did many good things and we will take the good things with us into the next two games, and I'm pretty sure we are going to make the playoffs, which is important," Coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren said.
