In the wake of Nana Akufo-Addo's final State of the Nation Address (SONA), Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, the Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, didn't hold back in his critique of the outgoing president.
The highly anticipated address, which typically sets the tone for the final year of an administration, included much about the government's legacy, but one prominent omission caught the attention of Buah.
As Akufo-Addo spoke to the gathered lawmakers and dignitaries, Buah pointed out that the president failed to mention the much-discussed national cathedral project, which had been one of his significant promises during his tenure.
The national cathedral, meant to be a grand symbol of religious devotion and a monumental architectural project, had been the subject of debate and controversy, with large sums of money being allocated for its development.
