A police operation by the Tema Regional Command ended in a deadly shoot-out at Kpone on Sunday night, leaving three suspected armed robbers dead and others on the run.
According to a press release from the Ghana Police Service, the incident occurred after officers responded to a distress call that about 10 armed men were attempting to break into a warehouse in the Tema Industrial Area.
The police patrol team confronted the suspects, leading to an exchange of gunfire.
Three suspects were shot and pronounced dead at the scene.
