Member of for Effutu, , has asserted that Ghanaians will soon evaluate the performance of the incoming administration, questioning whether it can deliver on its promises to transform the nation's governance and reset the economy over the next four years.
Speaking in on January 3, 2025, following President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's final State of the Nation Address, Afenyo-Markin reflected on the New Patriotic Party (NPP)'s tenure and highlighted the challenges they faced, including the COVID-19 pandemic, which tested the resilience of governments globally. That's no problem; it is supposed to be so.
But soon, we will see the true colours of the umbrella. "We will be watching you for the next four years, and if indeed you have transformed, we will see with our naked eyes," he added.
