The Oti Region House of Chiefs has congratulated President-elect, Mr on his decisive win in the December 7, 2024, general elections.
In a statement signed by Nana Soglo Alloh IV, President of Oti Region House of Chiefs, and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), the House praised the chiefs and people of the region for their peaceful and orderly conduct during the elections.
The House also commended Dr.
Mahamadu Bawumia, Flagbearer of New Patriotic Party for his democratic posture in conceding defeat, which helped reduce tension around the elections.
