The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr.
George Akuffo Dampson, has been awarded a presidential honour by the President of the Republic, Nana Akufo-Addo, for his outstanding service to the Ghana Police Service.
The honour, which is expected to be conferred in 2024, is in recognition of the IGP's dedication and commitment to maintaining law and order in the country.
The IGP has been at the helm of the Ghana Police Service since 2021 and has been credited with several initiatives aimed at combating crime and improving police visibility and accountability.
