With no single senior high school in the Sekyere Afram Plains District in the Ashanti Region, the intention to establish a community day senior high school project came to residents with loads of excitement. The facility was ready for use in 2017 but for a day school, the distance to the school was a concern to local authorities. Though fully furnished, the school block has been left unused for years. In 2020, the Ministry of Education awarded a contract for the construction of a dormitory block to complement the E-block project. At 60 percent, work halted owing to financial constraints.
