The campaign team of Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh has suspended its campaign ahead of the launch of the party's manifesto. The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is scheduled to launch the "It is possible" manifesto on Sunday, August 18, in Takoradi in the Western Region. According to the party, the manifesto will focus on jobs and provide an enabling environment for the private sector. The party's running mate who has been campaigning in his home region, the Ashanti Region has thus suspended the campaign tours to prepare for the event. Citi News sources close to the campaign team say Dr Prempeh is in the Greater Accra Region to participate in a national Council and national executive committee meetings ahead of the launch.
