The 2024 Running Mate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), , has shed light on the NPP's origin and its evolution into its current state. According to him, the late Dr allegedly hunted and chased several Ghanaian chiefs out of the country during his regime. Additionally, he said some of the chiefs were arrested during this period and these events contributed to the formation of various political groups which, eventually merged to create the NPP.
