The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, has brushed off comments made by outgoing Majority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin.
The Effutu legislator had suggested that the incoming NDC government would struggle to raise revenue while fulfilling campaign promises to abolish so-called nuisance taxes including the controversial E-Levy.
Speaking on JoyNews' Upfront on December 18, Mr Kwetey dismissed the assertions, attributing them to the shock of the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) election defeat.
