Vice President Dr.

Mahamudu Bawumia has earned praise for conceding defeat in the 2024 elections even before the Electoral Commission's official declaration.

American-based Ghanaian Archbishop Kofi Adonteng Boateng, Head Pastor of Divine Power House and General Overseer of Divine Word International Ministries, applauded the Vice President's move, describing it as a significant act of patriotism that puts Ghana ahead of political ambition.

The outspoken Archbishop, speaking during a sermon, expressed deep concern over the questionable tactics that often undermine electoral processes in Africa. "Somebody has printed so many ballot papers seeking to steal. "So, it is never the will of the people to rule them; usually, it is who has money and who has the ability to be a fraud," he remarked, addressing the systemic challenges plaguing elections.
