Dennis Miracles Aboagye, spokesperson for the (NPP) flagbearer, , has defended the government's recruitment of new employees after the 2024 election.

Aboagye's comments come in response to , spokesperson for the Mahama Transition Team, who announced plans to reverse all appointments made after December 7, 2024.
Kwakye Ofosu expressed concerns about the timing of these recruitments, citing allegations of last-minute hiring and an unexplained GH₵240 million payment to a business partner of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
