Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang the running mate of the NDC has donated $7, 500 to a 3-year-old child to undergo hole-in heart surgery at KoleBu Teaching Hospital.
She also presented an undisclosed amount of money for the upkeep of the family.
Dr K O W Entsua Mensah, Head of the Cardio Center at Kore Bu expressed their gratitude to the running mate of the NDC for this gesture. "A lot of people will just send a dispatch with the cheque to pay for the patient but you have found time to come personally to see the parent and to see us borne out of the love you gave for children in the country so we want to say a big thank you.
we will schedule the child for the surgery as soon as possible," Dr Mensah said.
