Dr.
Amakye Boateng, a Senior Political Lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has described the actions of Lydia Alhassan, the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West, as a serious breach of peace during the special voting on Monday, December 2nd, 2024.
In an interview on Onua FM, Dr Boateng called for Lydia Alhassan's arrest, criticizing her behaviour at the polling station.
He questioned the contents of the poly bags she distributed, asking, "Why would you go to a polling station and distribute something in a poly bag?
