The Ghana Police Service is currently investigating a highly sensitive incident involving the convoy of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The alleged attack, which occurred on December 2nd, 2024, in Techiman, Bono East Region, has sparked tension and conflicting reports.
According to preliminary police investigations, the Asantehene's convoy was returning from a funeral in Nkoranza when it encountered hostility in Techiman.
Youths, believed to be local, reportedly threw stones at some vehicles in the convoy.
