Ghanaian actress and television personality, Nayas1, has openly expressed her admiration for President Akufo-Addo, crediting him for the Free Senior High School (Free SHS) policy.
In a video , Nayas shared how the initiative has personally impacted her life.
She explained that as a single mother returning from Germany, times were tough, and finding a good school for her child was a significant challenge. "Life was difficult for me as a single mother when I returned from Germany," she said, adding that the Free SHS policy was a lifesaver.
She revealed that her child, after completing JHS, was able to enroll in SHS without the financial burdens she feared. "The only things I bought for my ward were a pen, pencil, and eraser," Nayas said, emphasizing that she did not have to pay any additional fees.
