The Electoral Commission (EC) has taken swift action to recall ballot papers meant for the Eastern and Western Regions after National Security flagged an issue involving a defaced ballot paper.

The paper, originally marked for destruction, was reportedly discovered at the Checkpoint Printing House, the designated printing facility.

Special voting, initially planned for Monday, December 2, has been postponed to Thursday, December 5, for these two regions.

This change allows time for the reprinting and secure redistribution of the affected ballot papers.
