The management of Ignite Media Group operators of Metro TV, Original TV and Original 91.1 FM has released a press statement in relation to an earlier invasion of some armed police personnel during a live broadcast of Metro TV's Good morning Ghana, hosted by Dr.
Randy Abbey.
The management of Ignite Media Group revealed that at about 9:30 am on Wednesday, 27th November, 2024, an auctioneer, a court bailiff and armed policemen stormed the premises of Metro TV, purported to be acting under a court order to execute a judgment against Metro TV.
According to their management, the auctioneer, bailiff and the armed policemen forced their way into the studio of Metro TV to disrupt the Good Morning Ghana programme leading to an abrupt halt of the programme.
