Hajia Samira Bawumia, Ghana's Second Lady, has boldly resisted what she describes as tribal tactics employed by the National Democratic Congress (NDC), asserting her rightful place in Ghana's political space as a Fulani woman.

Speaking passionately to a gathering just days before the much-anticipated December election, Samira called on Ghanaians to reject the NDC's divisive strategies and rally behind her husband, Dr.

Mahamudu Bawumia.

Samira's comments come amid rising tensions in the political landscape, with accusations of tribalism casting a shadow over what many hoped would be issue-based campaigns. "If the NDC believes that resorting to tribal politics is the way to win the hearts of Ghanaians, then they have no business holding power," she declared, her voice firm and resonant. "I am a Fulani woman, and I have every right to be here.
