The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has dismissed allegations that it is plotting with some elements in the military to rig the 2024 election.
The NDC's National Communication Officer, Sammy Gyamfi at a news conference on Tuesday said the party was going to petition the Inspector General of Police over their fears there may be a ploy to steal the people's mandate in this election.
But reacting to these allegations, the Deputy General Secretary of the NPP Haruna Mohammed said the claims by the NDC are false.
He insists the NDC is clutching at straws. "The NDC clearly admits that they are losing the election, and they are finding every straw to hold on so that they tell supporters that this is the reason they lost the election.
