Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Sam George has said it will be an exercise in futility for Parliament to be recalled some few weeks to the December elections.
The House has been adjourned indefinitely by Speaker Bagbin due to the vacant seats controversy which has now been settled after the Supreme Court verdict.
Parliament is expected to be recalled following the Supreme Court's ruling that Speaker Bagbin's declaration of four seats vacant is unconstitutional.
However, speaking on TV3's KeyPoints on November 16, Sam George said the NDC MPs will not regard any recall of Parliament because they're currently campaigning actively in their respective constituencies ahead of the 2024 elections.
