The Teachers and Educational Workers' Union (TEWU) of Trade Union Congress-Ghana (TUC) has announced a possible strike, citing frustration over the prolonged delay in finalising and implementing the Conditions of Service agreements for members within the Ghana Education Service (GES), Ghana Library Authority (GhLA), Museums and Monuments Board, Public Technical Universities, and Public Universities.

According to TEWU, negotiations for these service conditions have spanned several years without resolution.

The Union in a statement expressed their disappointment over government agencies' inability to conclude the process despite years of review negotiations.

It also stated that many of its members had anticipated a conclusion by now, yet have faced ongoing delays and bureaucratic setbacks for the past four years.
