The contractor working on the 23-kilometre Takoradi-Agona Nkwanta dual-carriageway in the Western Region has appealed to residents living along the project site to be patient with the contractors, as they were doing everything possible to complete the project to save them from the incessant dusty situation.

The contractors, Messrs Justmoh Construction Limited, made the appeal in reaction to concerns of residents about the need to tackle the "dusty situation" and the "inconvenience motorists faced" on a daily basis.

Speaking to journalists during an inspection of progress of work on the Kwesiminstim through Apremdo, Apowa stretch on Tuesday, the Chief Executive Officer of Justmoh Construction Ltd, Dr Justice Amoh, indicated that for the past one month, the weather had been good, but, assured, engineers would ensure the periodic watering of the project sites along the corridors, especially with the onset of dry weather would continue.

Dr Amoh assured that the teams were keen to ensure the project was completed on schedule for the benefit of the communities and the nation at large.
