Lecturer at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), Kobby Mensah, has stated that elections are about academia, not prophecies.
In his statement following some Ghanaian prophets and their prophecies about the US election held on November 5, 2024, between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, declaring Kamala Harris to emerge as the winner, he emphasized the importance of academic analysis over prophetic declarations.
Speaking on Kasapa News, Mr.
Mensah cited that most of the prophecies made by some Ghanaian prophets are based on the rate at which political parties pull crowds and the opportunities for comparison between parties. "If you look at the rate at which prophecies are given, it is based on social status, polls, and the comparison opportunities between the parties.
