The Ministry of Education has announced that the Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results for Senior High Schools (SHS) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institutions for 2024 are now available.

This announcement marks the start of the placement process for students across the country following the release of exam results by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).

According to the Ministry, out of the 563,339 candidates who took the exams, 553,155 qualified for placement in schools. "Out of the 563,339 results received from WAEC, 553,155 candidates qualified to be placed.

A total of 447,698 (80.93%) qualified candidates have automatically been placed in one of their choices.
