A visit to the project site by 3news witnessed an empty yard with no worker on site working on the construction.The Ministry, in response to the reportage, has clarified that work has not halted, but the contractor is awaiting payment for work to commence in line with standard operational procedures to all government projects."The Ministry confirms that the contractor overseeing this protect has recently submitted a certificate for payment as part of standard operational procedures.
This certificate is currently being processed by the Ministry.
