Nana Kwame Bediako, widely known as Cheddar, recently made a memorable impression on his campaign tour by rolling up his sleeves to peel cassava with locals in a rural community.

The leader of the New Force Movement, famous for his innovative and down-to-earth approach to politics, displayed a genuine commitment to understanding the daily lives of Ghanaians and addressing their needs directly.

On one of his campaign tours, Cheddar joined local farmers in peeling cassava, a staple crop and livelihood for many.

In his speech to the crowd, Cheddar highlighted his vision for industrialization, focusing on how cassava, with its various uses in food and starch production, could create job opportunities. "This is what industrialization is all about," he said. "Help me to help you so that your kids will also get jobs to do. Imagine you had two or three cassava processing plants. More than three thousand jobs can be created, and those will even be in 8-hour shifts. If it is three shifts, that will be 9,000 jobs." His vision for industrialization and job creation was met with enthusiastic applause and cheers from the crowd.
