Former Attorney-General, Martin Amidu has accused Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin of usurping the Supreme Court's jurisdiction in his interpretation and enforcement of the Constitution when he declared four parliamentary seats vacant.
Bagbin had on October 17, 2024 granted a motion by the Minority Leader Dr.
Cassiel Ato Forson to declare some four seats vacant, making the NDC become the party with majority members in Parliament. ". ….
