Ghana’s stability comes first – Afenyo-Markin calls out NDC for defying court Orders

Majority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has reaffirmed his party's unwavering commitment to peace and stability in Ghana, emphasizing that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will not allow anyone to destabilize the country.

Speaking to journalists following the NPP's walkout from Parliament on Tuesday amid ongoing tensions with the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Afenyo-Markin was resolute in his message: the NPP stands for peace, dialogue, and respect for the rule of law. "Our commitment to peace remains unshaken.

We have always used civil means to raise our concerns.

We believe in dialogue, in the judicial process, and in using legitimate channels to resolve issues," Afenyo-Markin asserted, drawing a clear contrast between the NPP's approach and the actions of the NDC.
