The  Ajomoro Traditional Council in the Nzema East Municipality of the Western Region has lamented the poor state  of infrastructure that is depriving the area of avenues to harness it full potentials.

It claimed that the deplorable roads were a huge drawback to enhance growth in agriculture, education and the health sectors of Ajoromo, a farming enclave.

Additionally, the House complained that, "Ajomoro is the most poor, rural, deprived and marginalised of all the seven paramountcies in the Nzemaland." The Acting President of Ajomoro Traditional Council, Nana Nyameke III, spoke about the Ajomoro situation in an interview with the Ghanaian Times yesterday.

He said, the sad situation and poverty of Ajomoro reflected in the neglect of their bad roads and they were overjoyed when the Axim -Apataim road was recently graded.
