Dr Palgrave Boakye-Danquah, Government spokesperson on Governance and Security has bragged about the position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in parliament describing it as the lawfully and democratically elected majority in Parliament During a discussion on Metro TV's News Night, Palgrave disclosed that he is surprised that the minority in parliament; the NDC is desperately seeking the position of the majority in parliament.
He stated that the minority leaders have erred on the side of the law by calling themselves the majority without the judgment of the Supreme Court.
He further slammed the speaker Rt Hon Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin for going ahead of the ruling of the Court to give meaning to the constitution. "The minority has erred on the side of the law by calling themselves the majority.
Speaker Bagbin has gone ahead of himself in giving reasoning to the interpretation of what has occurred.
