Former Deputy Information Minister under the John Dramani Mahama government, Felix Ofosu Kwakye has described as nonsensical the excuses being made for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
He believes that from speeches made by the President, it is clear that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has been in charge of Ghana's economy for the past seven years and has failed to manage it.
Therefore, such a person cannot be given the bigger task of leading the country as its president.
Felix Ofosu Kwakye made this position known in a tweet shared via X. "The excuse being made for Bawumia that he hasn't been President before,is both unintelligent and nonsensical.He has been in charge of economy in the last 7 years, destroyed it and imposed hardships on Ghanaians.Why must he be President when he has failed at a smaller task?" His comment comes on the back of Nana Aba Anamoah's recent tweet that Vice Presidents in Ghana do not matter in the scheme of affairs and that politicians are aware of this and need to be truthful to the Ghanaian populace.
