One of the lead conveners of the Democracy Hub protest against illegal mining, Felicity Nelson has penned an emotional letter to urge Ghanaians to join the ongoing "FreeTheCitizens" and "SayNoToGalamsey" protest.
Felicity who is currently in prison custody claimed through a letter shared via her Facebook page that one Benjamin Darko who has been arrested did not attend the protest on September 21.
According to her, Benjamin was arrested when he visited Oliver Barker-Vormawor at the hospital after the police said the latter had been sent to the hospital.
Felicity claimed Benjamin had been charged with "assaulting a police officer, unlawful assembly, burning of party paraphernalia and breach of peace." In her letter on Facebook, she said on Tuesday, October 1 the police showed each of the protesters a video footage of their alleged crimes.
