President has urged the people of the Upper East Region to throw their full support behind the (NPP) and its presidential candidate, , in the upcoming December elections.
He described Dr.
Bawumia as the embodiment of the hopes and aspirations of Ghanaians as the country approaches the polls.
During a one-day tour of the region on Tuesday, 1 October 2024, President Akufo-Addo addressed chiefs and elders, calling on voters to choose the NPP by selecting the number one spot on the ballot. "I came here to give you an account of my stewardship, thank you for your support, and to urge you to seriously consider the importance of choosing someone who will continue the policies we have initiated-policies that have brought relief, progress, and development to our country," the President stated.
