Tasty Tom, one of the leading tomato mix brands in the country, has been trending on social media.
This follows the immediate suspension of its production by the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) over safety concerns.
In its statement, the FDA cited serious health and safety issues raised by consumers who reported problems with the product's quality.
The FDA also launched an investigation into the manufacturing facility of Nutrifoods Ghana Limited, producers of Tasty Tom.
