Old Tafo Member of Parliament, Ekow Vincent Assafuah, has underscored the need for unity and peace before, during, and after the 2024 general elections.
The lawmaker said that the (NPP) was optimistic that Vice President would emerge victorious and be declared president.
He was, however, quick to add that the Vice President will require a peaceful atmosphere in ruling; hence, it was important for them to promote peace and unity regardless of the party one belonged to.
He was speaking at an event organised by the Women's Organiser for NPP, Madam Kate Gyamfua, in the constituency to launch the Women's Wing in the constituency.
