Rex Owusu Marfo known in the showbiz space as Rex Omar has questioned why the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission(EC), Mrs Jean Mensa, has more security protection than President Akufo-Addo.

He said the likes of Dr Kwadwo Afari Gyan and Mrs Charlotte Osei who previously occupied the position walked freely because they discharged their duties without any blemish. "In every election, there is a referee who is supposed to ensure fairness and superintends to make sure that everything is done in an orderly manner," he said on Property FM as MyNewsGh.com monitored. "In the laws of the country, the Electoral Commissioner is the one given the mandate to referee our elections and we saw how the likes of Afari Gyan did his work. "Afari Gyan is walking freely he's not been protected by any security personnel because he did his work without blemish and the same applies to Charlotte Osei. "But today if you see the security protecting Jean Mensa it is even more than the security protecting Akufo-Addo because she knows she is not doing the right thing so she's afraid for her life," he disclosed in an interview.
