Tonto Dikeh Pledges To Give Full Scholarship And N100k Monthly Allowance To Mohbad's Son

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has pledged to support the family of the late Mohbad in getting justice for his untimely death.

Tonto Dikeh told the mother of Mohbad that she and her son, King Andre were going to give a full scholarship to his 5-month-old son till he graduates school.

She also promised to be sending the child 100k Naira every month until he is done with school.

Mohbad, whose real name is Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, died last week but since his demise, there have been questions surrounding his passage.

While Nigerians have been protesting, calling for justice for the late rapper, Senator Abbo and the Nollywood stars visited Mohbad’s family in the Lekki area of Lagos State on Thursday to commiserate with them.

Senator Abbo assured Mohbad’s mum of protection and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his son’s demise.

Meanwhile, the body of Mohbad, has finally been exhumed for autopsy.

Lagos State Police spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed the development via his X handle on Thursday.

Recall that few days ago, it was all over the news that Nigerian Afrobeats star, Mohbad has sadly passed away after a short illness.

Details of his death are still sketchy as of the time of this report.

Mohbad was born on June 6, 1998, and had in the past reportedly wanted to commit suicide according to his colleague Akinbiyi Abiola better known as Bella Shmurda.

Mohbad, who had been gaining recognition as a rising star in the Nigerian music scene, had crafted a unique musical style that blended elements of pop, Afrobeat, and hip-hop.

His songwriting prowess and lyrical talent set him apart, making him a promising figure in the industry.

In 2022, Mohbad released his debut album, titled “Imole,” which quickly gained commercial success.
