The project, developed by Kenyan startup ZEN Carbon in partnership with Octavia Carbon, marks what its developers describe as the first public deployment of carbon-mineralised concrete infrastructure in the Global South.

According to the company's materials, CarbonCure has produced more than 6 million truckloads and 38 million cubic metres of lower carbon concrete, resulting in more than 400,000 metric tonnes of carbon savings." Installed walkway at the Upper Hill carbon-pavement project.
