Black Starlets coach Laryea Kingston in buoyant mood ahead of WAFU U-17 tourney

Laryea Kingston, the coach of the Black Starlets, is gearing up for the 2024 U17 WAFU Zone B tournament after the draw took place in Ivory Coast.

Ghana finds itself in Group A alongside Ivory Coast and Benin.

Despite facing tough opponents, Kingston maintains a respectful yet determined stance, acknowledging, “We respect every country that will be playing at the tournament.

But we’re ready,” in an exclusive statement to ghanafa.org.

With the tournament set to kick off on May 15th and continue until May 28th, all eyes are on Accra, Ghana, the host nation.

Preparations for the Black Starlets have been thorough, with Kingston highlighting the importance of being mentally and physically prepared for the challenge ahead.
