Traders Advocacy Group calls for removal of Transport Minister over port charges, fares

The group is consequently urging the government to take immediate steps to address port charges and other transport-related costs to ease the burden on businesses and consumers.

The Traders Advocacy Group of Ghana is calling for the immediate removal of the Transport Minister, accusing him of incompetence in managing the country’s transport sector.

Speaking on behalf of the group, its General Secretary, Emmanuel Opoku Acheampong, said the Transport Minister had failed to effectively manage the sector.
