Techiman Assembly steps up sanitation drive with fumigation exercise

The exercise covered the Techiman Central Market, slaughterhouse, public toilets and others The Techiman Municipal Assembly, in collaboration with the Bono East Regional Office of Zoomlion Ghana Limited, has undertaken a fumigation exercise at major public facilities in Techiman as part of efforts to prevent disease outbreaks and improve environmental sanitation.

Awuah further disclosed that the exercise would be extended to other municipalities and districts across the Bono East Region as part of efforts to strengthen public health and environmental sanitation.

The Bono East Regional Environmental Health Officer, Lamptey Gyan, also emphasised the importance of maintaining clean surroundings and supporting initiatives that promote environmental sanitation and public health.
