Stronger air links key to boosting African trade – Affo-Toffey

Deputy Minister for Transport, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, has underscored the importance of stronger air connectivity between Ghana and other African countries in driving trade, business and regional integration.

According to her, the relaunch of African World Airlines’ (AWA) Accra–Abidjan route presents an opportunity to deepen economic ties between Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire while facilitating greater movement of people and goods.“Routes linking Ghana to other African destinations are critical to advancing regional integration and expanding intra-African trade,” she said.
