SIGA commends GNA on financial performance, governance compliance

By GhanaSummary Newsroom1 min read

“The absence of long-term financial obligations is a particularly commendable feature of GNA’s financial structure, as it eliminates long-term debt-servicing risks and significantly reduces the Agency’s exposure to refinancing and interest rate risks over the medium to long term,” the report stated.

Despite the challenge, SIGA acknowledged the progress made by the Agency in operational efficiency, debt management and financial reporting.

SIGA said the improvement reflected the Agency’s strengthened capacity to service short-term obligations from internally generated resources and indicated progress in debt management.
