RTI Commission announces September as Right to Information Month  

The Right to Information Commission (RTIC) has designated September 2026 as Right to Information (RTI) Month to promote public awareness and access to information.‎The Commission said the conference would seek to develop practical recommendations for addressing information disorder, promote meaningful public participation in decision‑making and explore measures to strengthen information integrity within Ghana’s digital ecosystem.” ‎In a statement signed by Madam Genevieve Shirley Lartey, Executive Secretary, the Commission said the initiative was aimed at deepening public understanding of the Right to Information Act, 2019 (Act 989).
