NUTOG Ho Zone suspends implementation of new tricycle fares

The Secretariat said the suspension was necessary to allow the parties to reach a fair and acceptable fare structure through proper consultation, mutual understanding and cooperation between riders and passengers.

We believe that through dialogue, understanding and compromise, we can arrive at a fare that is fair and sustainable for riders while remaining reasonable and affordable for passengers,” the statement said.

It reiterated that the proposed new fare should not be implemented until further notice and thanked riders and passengers for their patience, understanding and cooperation.
