Northshore factory signals shift of industrialisation to northern Ghana – Trade Minister

She said the garment manufacturing facility demonstrated that the Northern Region could attract large-scale industrial investments, create jobs and add value to locally available raw materials while contributing to Ghana’s export ambitions.

Mrs Ofosu-Adjare said this during the official commissioning of the Northshore Apparel Ghana Limited, a modern garment manufacturing facility at Savelugu in the Northern Region.

He said the project demonstrated that Ghanaian-owned businesses could undertake large-scale, internationally competitive manufacturing ventures and contribute significantly to the country’s industrial and export ambitions.
