MOFFA Plans District-Level Monitoring to Curb Mistreatment of Corpses at Funerals

The agency believes that the planned district-level presence, together with stronger legislation, will improve oversight of Ghana’s funeral industry and help ensure that the dead are treated with dignity.

Speaking on JoyNews, Executive Director of MOFFA, Francis Ennin, said the personnel will be equipped with mobile phones and motorbikes to enable them to move quickly to funeral grounds and other locations where funeral activities are taking place.

So, we are concerned about the southern part or the middle up to the southern part of Ghana, where these things are common.
