Kwabena Mintah Akandoh is the Minister for Health The Ministry of Health has handed over a fully furnished health post at Assin Donkokrom in the Assin North District of the Central Region under the government’s Free Primary Healthcare initiative.

Speaking on behalf of Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, the Minister of Health at the ceremony, George Boadu, the Director in Charge of Biomedical Engineering at the Ministry, said the Free Primary Healthcare initiative was aimed at ensuring that every citizen had access to essential healthcare services without paying at primary-level facilities.

He said the health post would reduce the risk and inconvenience associated with travelling long distances to access healthcare services in other parts of the district and the region.
